A 30-year affiliation with NYC Health + Hospitals distinguishes Dr. Gloria Rubin, who has been a primary care physician at Gouverneur-Judson Health Center since 1994.

She began her post-graduate work at the Mount Sinai Medical Center affiliate of NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. She rose to become chief resident, and joined Gouverneur in 1994. Patients and colleagues heap praise on her professionalism, calling her “excellent,” “thoughtful” and “caring.” That praise is reinforced by Dr. Rubin’s earning high productivity numbers and consistently high marks in every clinical metric. Patients take two or three subways just to be treated by her at Judson. One patient wrote that Dr. Rubin is “a rare gem in our current healthcare system.” The bi-lingual physician, according to colleagues, is “the most thorough.”

Dr. Rubin is a graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine, formerly the University of Dominica, and a clinical instructor at the New York University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine.
