Dr. Ray Ivanovs has been Director of Podiatric Medicine, NYC Health + Hospitals/McKinney, since 2014. He had held the same title at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, starting in 1994.

McKinney Medical Director Dr. Steven Kaner hails Dr. Ivanovs’ personality for cajoling the most difficult patients. In conjunction with the medical staff at Woodhull, Dr. Ivanovs expanded the Podiatric Residency program with NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is its onsite Residency Director. He is responsible for training the next generation of podiatrists.
Dr. Ivanovs’ passion for his patients is paramount, as he provides palliative and wound care on the inpatient and outpatient services. His work ethic is an example to scores of residents, according to Dr. Kaner. For McKinney clinicians, Dr. Ivanovs is a learned consultant who provides a link to Woodhull when more involved care issues arise.

Dr. Ivanovs is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his post-graduate training at St. Michael’s Center in Newark, NJ. He was in private practice in Dover, NJ, before joining Woodhull. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery.
