Your Guests

What’s the best time to visit our patient? We leave that up to our patient!

At Jacobi, we know that nothing can be more important to the process of healing than the support of your loved ones. So on many nursing units at our hospital, we have done away with the notion of “visitors” and “visiting hours.” We encourage those who you would like to spend time with – including supervised minors – to be with you at any time of the day or night. And we are glad to include whomever you wish in our conversations with you about your diagnosis and your care plan.

Because a good night’s rest is also important to help you heal, we do ask that our patients, their friends, and families observe our nightly Quiet Hours, from 10pm – 7am. During Quiet Hours, we dim the lights, lower our voices, turn down the TVs, and urge all our patients to get the sleep they need.

To ensure the safety of patients and personnel, everyone must first stop at the Concierge Desk in the Main Lobby of Building #6 to obtain and display a Pass. In most circumstances, two people at a time are allowed.

This hospital does not restrict, limit, or otherwise deny guest access based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. Patients may withdraw or deny consent to guest access to anyone at any time.
