At-Home Vaccinations Now Available for All New Yorkers Ages 12 and Older

At-home appointments offer Pfizer vaccine in convenience and comfort at no cost

New York, NY

At-home vaccinations for COVID-19 are now available to all New Yorkers ages 12 and older, the NYC Test & Trace Corps announced today. The appointments offer the Pfizer vaccine in the convenience and comfort of their homes at no cost.

“Our efforts to bring the COVID-19 vaccine to the hardest to reach communities take the next step forward today with the expansion of at-home vaccinations for all New Yorkers,” said Dr. Ted Long, Executive Director of the NYC Test & Trace Corps and Senior Vice President for Ambulatory Care and Population Health at NYC Health + Hospitals. “With this service, we can now bring the Pfizer vaccine literally to your doorstep seven days a week.”

Starting today, New Yorkers may register for appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at home. The vaccine is administered by teams of two trained professionals who can accommodate language needs. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to receive the vaccine.

Appointments for at-home vaccinations are available seven days per week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. New Yorkers may register for an appointment by visiting nyc.gov/homevaccine or calling 877-829-4692.

At-home vaccinations for all New Yorkers expand on a program launched by the Test & Trace Corps in May to reach those most in need including seniors, NYCHA residents and City employees.
