“While I appreciate the honor City & State have bestowed upon me, I accept this award on behalf of all of my colleagues at Jacobi,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi | North Central Bronx CEO Christopher Mastromano, MBA. “In the last few years, there have been many challenges, and the heroes who work here, medical professionals and administrative staff have risen to the occasion each time.”

“During this transformational period at Lincoln, I’m honored to be recognized and acknowledged by City & State,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln CEO Christopher A. Roker. “However, I’m as good as my team and I’d like to share this recognition with them, as we continue to work with integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.”

“Woodhull continues to innovate and progress despite the most recent challenging times. I am grateful to be the head of the Woodhull Team for their perseverance and drive to excel despite the hurdles and challenges we have endured these past few years,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull CEO Gregory Calliste, FACHE. “We appreciate our Woodhull community for their engaging support. We also thank our patients who have reciprocated their respect by allowing our healthcare workers to treat them with care and empathy.”

“It’s a tremendous professional honor to be a part of telling the story of NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi over these past ten years,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Assistant Director of Communications John Doyle. “The mission of our health system – to treat everyone regardless of who they are, where they come from, or their ability to pay, is a noble endeavor and I feel privileged to play a small role in sharing the stories of our healthcare heroes.”

“I am extremely honored to have received this recognition from City and State. I regard it as a great privilege to advocate for my community through my role at Health + Hospitals, a public health system that provides excellent care to everyone, regardless of their background, immigration status, or ability to afford treatment,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst CEO Helen Arteaga Landaverde, MPH. “I look forward to continuing to expand Elmhurst’s programs and services and to increasing access to healthcare so that our communities remain resilient, healthy and strong.”

“As a former journalist, I tend to ask for those who couldn’t ask. As a health care professional, I want to care for those who weren’t taken care of,” said MetroPlusHealth AAPI Marketing and Community Relations Manager Luna Liu. “Health care is not a privilege, and it is a basic right.”

“I am extremely humbled to have been named among City & State New York’s Power 100 leaders in healthcare,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens CEO Neil J. Moore, MBA, MPA, FACHE. “The work we are engaged in here at Queens every day for our community is an ongoing commitment and responsibility to ensure we continue to deliver high quality healthcare for people in need.  As our borough’s population continues to grow, our hospital assumes an increasingly important role in enabling our community to lead their healthiest lives.   I accept this recognition not only for myself, but on behalf of the entire staff at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens.”

“I am honored to be recognized on City & State’s Brooklyn Power 100 list as a powerful leader and will continue to uphold our mission of providing quality healthcare to a culturally and linguistically diverse population, regardless of ability to pay,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County CEO Sheldon McLeod.

“I am thankful to be named once again to City & State NY’s Brooklyn Power 100 list,” said NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island CEO Svetlana Lipyanskaya. “Providing state-of-the-art health care to the residents of South Brooklyn and the surrounding communities is an honor.  Here, at the future NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health and its Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, excellent care for all is a right, not a privilege.”
