Vaccines

Vaccination against COVID-19 is the best way to prevent you from getting Long COVID, especially if you did not already have COVID-19. Vaccination can also sometimes help alleviate Long COVID symptoms. For more information about COVID vaccines, please visit https://www.nychealthandhospitals.org/covid-19-vaccines/.

If you get your first vaccine dose at a NYC-run vaccine location after May 25th, 2021, or if you received your first dose on July 28th or 29th, you are eligible to receive a $100 prepaid debit card, or other incentives such as free tickets, memberships, or gifts for a limited time only. For more information about this, you can call 877-VAX4NYC (877-829-4692) or visit www.vax4nyc.nyc.gov/incentives.

Please note: The $100 incentive program for boosters has ended.

Internet Access

New Yorkers can access many mental health resources online during the COVID-19 outbreak. If you do not have access to internet, the NYC Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities has detailed a list of internet providers offering free or low-cost internet. Visit this page to find out more.

  • Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP): A Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices. You may be eligible to receive up to $30 off your monthly broadband bill through the ACP. See if you qualify and apply online here.
  • Visit New York States Affordable Broadband Portal to help find affordable broadband programs in your area.
    • If you or someone you know does not have access to a computer, we recommend visiting a New York Public Library location, where they can use on-site computers for free with their NYPL library card. Library cards are free if the client can prove they are a resident (ID, piece of mail, etc.). Website here.
