Visiting NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter

Patients have the right to designate any visitors, including spouse, domestic partner, including a same sex partner, another family member, or a friend. NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter does not restrict, limit or otherwise deny visitation privileges based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. Patients may withdraw or deny consent to visitation to anyone at any time.

COVID-19 tests are available FREE at all NYC Health + Hospitals testing sites. Insurance is not required to receive a free COVID-19 test or an antibody test at any NYC Health + Hospitals location. If patients have insurance, we bill the insurer directly and never charge a co-pay or co-insurance.

The charges listed below reflect the standard charge amounts that the government requires us to publicly post and do not reflect costs to patients.
