Coronavirus Update

• Updated Visitor Policy

Effective May 17, 2021, NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island is expanding visitation for family members and significant others. The hours of visitation will be from 11am – 7pm, Monday through Sunday. We will allow up to one (1) visitor at a time. Visitors are expected to respect and comply with these additional restrictions. This guideline will remain in effect and will be modified to comply with New York State guidelines.

Visitor Screening Tool

If you are permitted to visit the hospital, prior to entering the hospital, you will be required to complete the NYC Health + Hospitals COVID-19 Screening tool. Because your screening tool result is effective for 24 hours, you may complete your screening prior to your arrival at the hospital. This will save you time upon arrival.

It’s Quick and Easy to Clear Yourself for Entry

All it takes is a few easy steps and less than 30 seconds to answer the questionnaire and help keep everyone safe.

• Click on the URL address or scan the QR code in the image below and open the URL.
• Complete the form and answer all pre-screening questions. Use the same user name and password from your work computer.
• Press “submit.” You will immediately get a notification on your phone and via email. Green means OK to enter. Red means No Entry, notify supervisor, get COVID-19 test.
• Show the notification on your screen to the designated staff person at the point of entry in the facility. If you do your screening in advance as recommended, be sure you have a screen shot or print out of your result.
• Repeat every day you visit the facility
