Tea Time

Tea Time volunteers offer our inpatients tea and cookies (diet permitting) and light, pleasant conversation, with the aim of increasing patient satisfaction. Volunteers are trained on patient diets by Food and Nutrition and Customer Service Standards by Patient Experience staff.

Best suited for: Pre-Med students, mature High School Students, & community members.

Virtual Volunteer

• Donate to NYC Health + Hospitals Auxiliary
• Support Patient Library with book and magazine donations
• Volunteer to plan and lead special events (recognition ceremony, program trainings, etc.)
• Contribute to our Funny Bone program with appropriate jokes and comedy material.
• Greetings Cards
• Make and donate activity packets for rehabilitation and pediatric patients
• Operation Stork: knit baby hats
