NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island Council upholds the best in customer experience. Our volunteers provide a warm welcome to new patients and their families. With a smile our volunteers provide logistical information and assistance to help orient our patients to their new short-stay environment. They will also observe overall operational flow and will take the lead in suggestions to improve the patient experience. We encourage all levels of staff and interested community members to become greeters to help foster empathy for our patients. By “following in the patient’s footsteps” you can contribute to improving the overall patient experience at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island.
