The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides primary and consultation services for adolescents and young adults between twelve and twenty-one years of age. We have a separate waiting room and examination area for these patients because they are older and have different needs and health care issues. As in the General Pediatric Practice, the Adolescent Practice provides routine health care maintenance and urgent care for sick patients. Our staff includes two Adolescent Medicine providers and a nursing staff. Adolescent Medicine Physicians are all Board Certified in both General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
Additionally, the department has Satellite offices in Staten Island and Neptune Avenue.
Subspecialty services available by appointment include Pulmonary/ Asthma, Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, and Adolescent Gynecology. Our pediatric sub-specialists are Board Certified in General Pediatrics and their subspecialty.
