The Radiology Department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island strives to continue its upgrades to further extend to our patients digital state of the art equipment to obtain quality expeditious care in an environment conducive to the 21st century. Additionally, in order to facilitate the department in providing the highest possible quality of services to our patients and referring physicians, the department has a state-of-the-art PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System). Furthermore, we have interfaced the PACS with voice recognition software, allowing all radiology reports to be immediately dictated, proofread, and available “online” with the appropriate clinical images. This has dramatically enhanced the department’s ability to render timely radiologic services.

Our main department is located on 5 North. Whereas we perform all routine examinations, CT scans, Nuclear medicine studies and sonographic studies as well as Interventional Radiology and Mammography.
