Friends of Harlem Hospital

The Friends of Harlem Hospital Center was founded in 1987 on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem to engage in and support activities that promote the work of the hospital. Since 2000, the Friends of Harlem Hospital Center has dispersed grants of over $1.3 million dollars; in 2008-2009 they donated $224,146 in grants to various departments and programs, and, in 2006 they donated $100,000 to Harlem’s Capital Campaign Modernization Project.
