Our cancer care priorities are prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer. Osteoporosis and Bone Densitometry

Our Osteoporosis and Bone Densitometry Center provides education on the risk factors and prevention of osteoporosis. We apply state-of-the-art technology in addition to methods that allow for immediate vertebral assessment. With Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry, osteoporosis can be detected much earlier than with routine x-rays and can be treated before fractures occur.

Rehabilitation Therapy Services

Rehabilitation medicine is an important part of the recovery process. We treat functional loss related to stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, traumatic brain injury, disorders of the spinal cord and nervous system, musculoskeletal problems, cardio-pulmonary disease, diabetes and hypertension.

Sickle Cell Anemia

NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County houses the first and oldest sickle cell program in existence. Our new sickle cell day hospital offers treatment on an emergency basis as well as an outpatient clinic.

STD Clinic

Our STD clinic offers the latest in diagnostics and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections by infectious diseases trained physicians and staff. HIV/AIDS

We offer the best heath care available for patients living with HIV/AIDS. Our dedicated HIV clinic with HIV specialists is located at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, East New York.

Services include HIV education, counseling and confidential HIV testing; primary and specialty medical care; hospitalization for acute and long-term care; HIV-specific mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, and case management.

Special services include a child and adolescent mental health clinic for families affected by HIV, and a new state-of-the-art hospital.
