NYC Health + Hospitals/Sea View has two specialized units that are designed to meet the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia disorders. A therapeutic activities program, developed by an interdisciplinary team of experts, keeps residents engaged in structured and purposeful activity. The program helps to sharpen cognitive functioning, orientation, and socialization among the residents.
