Visitor Passes

• Passes are available at the information desk in the First Avenue Lobby from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• After 8:00 p.m., passes for units 8S, 9N, and 10 are available in the Admitting Office.

Visitor Guidelines

NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue staff understand how family and friends are an important part of the patient’s healing and emotional wellness. Therefore, family and caregivers are welcome at any time during the patient’s stay in the Hospital, Emergency Department or Outpatient/Clinic areas.

Patients have the right to designate any visitors, including a spouse, domestic partner, other family member, or friend. This hospital does not restrict, limit, or otherwise deny visitation privileges based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. Patients may withdraw or deny consent to visitation to anyone at any time.

• Visitors must wear stickers at all times.
• Each patient is allowed only two visitors at a time.
• Children under 12 cannot visit patient units without approval from the Charge Nurse on duty.
• Visitors must consult with unit staff before bringing any items for patients onto units.

Lori’s Gift Shop at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue:

Lori’s Gift Shop offers a selection of everyday gifts (plush animals, snacks, fresh flowers, baby gifts, toys, cold drinks, balloons and books). Lori’s offers free deliveries to patients in the hospital. Call 212-562-4246.

Gift shop hours:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – Midnight
Friday, 6 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
