We place volunteers in many areas:

  • Non-patient care areas
  • Communication/interpreter services
  • Special assignments that require completion of a training program, such as chaplaincy, patient advocacy, patient visiting, rape crisis, or Reach Out and Read programs.

Candidates must commit to serving at least six hours a week for a minimum of three months. Special assignments may require a longer time commitment. To find out about volunteering opportunities at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, call our volunteer office at 212-562-4858.
