We provide interpreter services free of charge to any patient who speaks limited or no English or is hearing impaired. These services are available to ensure that our patients and their families receive and understand important medical information at every stage of their care. Our language services include:
CyraCom: CyraCom interpretation telephones, also known as CyraPhone, connect two or more individuals who speak different languages to an interpreter. Patients and hospital staff who speak different languages are able to talk and understand each other. CyraCom services are available in over 150 languages.
Deaf Talk: The Deaf Talk video system is available for sign language communication for speech and hearing impaired persons.
Signage and printed materials: Materials are posted in English and Spanish throughout the facility.
