Chemical dependency services offer a variety of treatment programs in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment. We have more than 30 years of experience and use the best, most effective methods for addressing addiction. Medical, psychological, social and vocational issues area addressed to help patients attain sobriety. Credentialed and licensed staff members work with patients to reach their goals. Our chemical dependency services are licensed and certified by OASES (the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services).
We offer an array of services based on the level of care needed. Patients receive group, family and individual counseling. Twelve-step meetings are held onsite as well as H.I.V counseling and health education. Patients requiring an intensive setting are able to participate in our Rehabilitation Program. In this program, they come in three to five days a week, four hours a day and receive group and individual counseling. Patients requiring a less intensive program can participate in our clinic program for therapies that concentrate on relapse skills, on building socialization skills and developing coping skills. This is a highly successful, 14-week treatment program which meets two nights a week. It is specifically tailored for adults who have been arrested for driving while intoxicated and are mandated to receive treatment to get their licenses returned. It is one of the shortest programs available in New York City and patients do not need insurance to receive treatment. Payment plans are available if needed. This walk-in, flexible program is specifically for chemically dependent H.I.V./AIDS patients. The goal of the program is to connect patients with medical, social and treatment services and provide health information which helps reduce risks for the patient and improve quality of life. Individual, group and family counseling promotes safe-sex practices, delivers health education and information regarding medications and helps patients understand their illness as well as their addiction.
