Ambulatory and Minimally Invasive Surgery

Ambulatory and minimally invasive surgery is performed on an outpatient basis primarily for elective and emergency surgical services. It is also referred to as same day surgery. Patients who need an ambulatory surgical procedure do not require an inpatient admission.
