Every year, our annual celebration of Doctor’s Day represents the best that New York City’s public health care delivery system has to offer, and its future. Our physicians are at the core of NYC Health + Hospitals’ deep community roots, and our promise of delivering safe, quality, and the City’s most culturally responsive care.
We recognize 25 outstanding physicians from diverse disciplines and practices, who represent the thousands of other highly skilled and mission driven physicians across our broad system. Though working in diverse areas of medicine, each of these innovative caregivers has in common a fierce dedication to our patients’ health and well-being. They have chosen to spend their professional lives caring for the most vulnerable among us, to advancing the public health system’s essential mission of providing care for all who seek it, and to helping every New Yorker live his or her healthiest life.
